ANC 2024 Tournament - Member sign-up

The ANC Tournament is back!  We're hosting the event on November 2nd at Sporthallen Zuid.

What is it?

For those of you that are new to the club, this is always a great day - the highlight of the ANC calendar!

The tournament is a full day event, from around 8AM - 6PM, with a social afterwards (at Feed).

Each team will play at least 6 games with a maximum of 10 players on each team.  We cater to all levels, and typically have three pools on the day.  We already have 15 teams signed up from across Europe!! So now its your turn to secure a spot on one of our "home" teams.

How do I sign up?

To secure your place, please complete this form so that we can create the teams and gather other info to help us organize the day.

The cost for an ANC member to play is EUR 15 per member (there's a link below to pay). Note, tournament fees are not part of annual memberships, but thanks to the massive interest from incoming teams we've provided a EUR 10 p.p discount compared to what the incoming teams pay (but sssshhhh, don't tell them!).

You have until the end of Friday 13th September to complete the form and payment to secure your spot. It will be first come, first served.

Teams

We expect to field 3 teams from ANC, each with 10 players, provisionally:

1. A top-level team for players with extensive experience, ideally at a high level in their home countries (for example). Players in this team will be expected to perform at a high standard and are likely to be ruthlessly competitive (you have been warned!).

2. An intermediate team for players with a good level of netball experience and ability. We expect this to be reasonably highly-skilled netball, perhaps with slightly more emphasis on having fun.

3. A development-focused team - we still expect this to involve netball of a good quality (you ANC'ers are all pretty decent, after all), just perhaps slightly less "gung ho".

When signing up, you will be asked to indicate in which team(s) you would most like to play. Please make this decision based on your netball-ing ability and your preference for ! We cannot guarantee you will be allocated to your first choice team.

Volunteering

This tournament is being organised entirely by volunteers from the club - by signing up, you are also agreeing to help out where possible and to represent ANC on the day. Please be mindful of the time and effort we are putting into this (a lot, because we love it!) by responding to our requests for help with equal enthusiasm when you're asked to do so.
