Netball Netherlands League
Amsterdam Netball Club is proud to be part of the Netball Netherlands League – the first official netball competition in the country! The league was created to grow the sport locally and give clubs across the Netherlands the chance to play competitive matches on a regular basis.
The league is open to all levels, from beginners finding their feet to experienced players wanting to sharpen their skills. Matches are friendly but competitive, offering the perfect balance of fun, fitness, and team spirit.

NNL Team Trials 2025/26
The new netball season is upon us, and ANC will again be entering two teams into the Netball Netherlands league. Trials are only open to members, and must be available for all league matches (home and away games).
Trial Dates
Thursday 18 September (arrive 6:45pm)
Sunday 21 September (arrive 9:45am)
What to Expect

Players must attend trials in non-marking indoor sports shoes. Players will be allocated a number which is to be displayed on upper arms or legs during matches.

It is the intention that each player will have at least two matches in their preferred positions.

Those who are not playing a match must be away from the sidelines to ensure selectors can see all players throughout. Those not playing may warm up off court.

Players will be assessed during both warm up drills and match play.
Match Dates
Each team plays one game per round, and there is a selection of home and away fixtures. Friendly games are to be scheduled following each game.

Netball Netherlands League
The first ever National Netball League in the Netherlands took place in 2023-24, with competing clubs from Maastricht, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Amsterdam and Brussels. After a nail-biting final against Utrecht, Amsterdam emerged victorious!
It’s all to play for in the 2024-25 season! This time, two teams from Amsterdam Netball are participating: ANC 1 and ANC 2.
The squad lists for 2024-25 have now been finalized – but there may still be opportunities to play in a team on an ad hoc basis.
